These earrings are made using the wings from the Blue Morpho Butterfly. They are ethically sourced & raised from a butterfly reservation which collects the wings after they live their natural lifespan. These reservations help protect this species. 

The wings have a stunning metallic blue flash and are protected with thick lamination and then electroformed in copper around the edges. Adorned with flashy Rainbow Moonstone crescent moons. Last pic shows the back of the wings which are also gorgeous with "eye" patterning.

The hooks are made from Niobium which is hypoallergenic and safe for most metal sensitivities. Comes with clear backings and branded backing card.

The length of the earring from the bottom of the hook to the bottom of the earring is about 2.5 inches.
